When my oldest daughter turned 3, she asked me for her first tutu.  After looking in various stores and not being able to find exactly what we were looking for, I taught myself how to make a tutu and posted a picture of it on Facebook.  Suddenly, I had requests from friends, asking me to make their kids a tutu as well.  Our brand, tutu cute was born. 

We went to various boutique shows to sell our custom made tutus and hair accessories and wound up meeting other local Moms who were selling original kids apparel and room decor.  After speaking with these Moms, we realized that there was a need for a website that listed handmade items - specifically one where we wouldn't have to pay to list each item.  A month later, in 2009, WayTutuCute.com was born!  Today, we offer over 70 lines (at least 75% handmade by Moms and Dads from all over the USA and Canada).

We now offer apparel, shoes, accessories, dress up items, tutus, room decor, personalized gifts and more. And don't be fooled. WayTutuCute.com is not only for little princesses and ballerinas. We are also proud to sell items for your little prince as well. And we didn't forget about you either! We've also thrown in some items for grown ups. Browse through jewelry, accessories, clothing and more.

In January of 2011, we attended a pre-Golden Globes celebrity suite and in September of 2011, we attended a pre-Emmy Awards Celebrity Parenting Lounge, where we introduced our brands to celebrities. I am so proud of how far we've come and I look forward to what the future holds.

In addition to promoting parentmade items, we are all about giving back.  We raise and donate money, at least three times a year, to some very important organizations such as Joshua and Robin Berry Children's Trust Fund, Susan G. Komen, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Chron's and Colitis Foundation, American Diabetes Association, Children's Tumor Foundation, Autism Speaks and more. We also have an awareness section, where 50-75% of all proceeds will be donated directly to the listed cause. We are excited and honored to be able to donate to these organizations!
